A restaurant’s POS-informed promotions, its reported results and what to consider before testing your next offer.
Stuff It Up counter, from CedMenu’s project portfolio.
At Stuff It Up, transaction frequency and time-of-day patterns inform controlled AI menu updates, add-on offers and timely promotions. The aim is straightforward: give a relevant item space on the screen while customers are deciding what to order. The work connects sales context with a clear, readable offer at the counter.
The reported results
Reported by CedMenu for Stuff It Up. Qualifications below.
CedMenu reports 8% revenue growth in one month and sales increases of 30–80% for selected items at Stuff It Up. Stuff It Up also reported selling out of bacon and turkey sandwiches after the promotion ran on its CedMenu boards.
These observations are not independently verified or a controlled comparison isolating the boards’ effect. Dates, baseline calculations and whether selected-item sales mean units or revenue were not supplied. The range covers selected items, not the whole menu. Traffic, prices, stock and other promotions can affect outcomes. Individual results vary.
A connected menu, with room for featured offers
The supplied artwork combines Stuff It Up’s orange-and-green identity with prominent food images and prices. Featured sandwiches have their own names, photographs and prices, with descriptions in English and French. Sandwich, patty and drink boards share the same visual identity, giving individual offers room to stand out within a connected menu.
The artwork illustrates the design approach. It is not a verified image of the reported bacon-and-turkey promotion, and items, prices and artwork versions may differ from the restaurant’s current menu.

From sales patterns to the screen
Transaction frequency and time-of-day patterns provide context for choosing an item or add-on to feature during a service period. CedMenu uses those POS-informed insights for controlled AI menu updates and promotions. The offer still needs a clear item name, an understandable price and a layout customers can read from the counter.
Review availability alongside sales. The sandwich sell-out report raises a practical question for the next promotion: is there enough stock to keep the featured offer available? A sales report and a stock check answer different parts of that question.
Try a focused promotion in your restaurant
Start with one item, combo or add-on, and choose the service period when it makes sense to feature it. Decide who checks and approves the offer before it appears. Define your measure in advance, whether that is units sold or the share of orders that include the add-on.
Compare similar service periods and record changes in pricing, opening hours, stock and other promotions. Review availability before repeating the offer. This gives your next decision more context without treating a change in sales as proof that the board caused it.
